As a former elementary assistant principal, David Kelly and I would often meet to discuss the implementation of technology into the daily instruction. He would always blow my mind with all of his creative ideas. What was more mind blowing is seeing his ideas come to reality in the classrooms. The teachers and students would be eager and excited to have him apart of their lesson because they knew he would be bringing effective, innovative ideas that not only captured the students’ interests, but also provided teachers with additional instructional strategies to implement in the lesson that were grade level appropriate.
David has also created 2 school songs for me that are still being used today to motivate the students each morning before the instructional day starts. He’s truly an innovative educator that every school needs to be effective in these days and times!
