Class Site, Digital Portfolios, and Badging with Google Sites
Check out this sample classroom site that I created using Google Sites.
Within this site, each individual student has their own profile page that is only accessibly by that student. Google Sites provides the option to set permissions for individual pages, so I set up for each student to be able to only view their own page. On this sample site, "Student 1" is accessible to everyone to see how the pages look. Every other student's page is blocked.
On each profile page, the student can access his/her badges and digital portfolios for each subject.
This site is a class website that can be used to communicate with parents and stakeholders, reward students with badges for their accomplishments, and view students' progress via digital portfolios.
